Exploring our challenges within the context of a therapeutic relationship offers us the chance to develop deeper self-understanding and cultivate self-compassion.
Therapy is a unique process that moves us closer to ourselves and the truth. It is also a dynamic relationship between therapist and client, in which the therapeutic relationship becomes a laboratory for exploring hidden parts of ourselves, how we relate to others, and what keeps us stuck in certain patterns that hold us back from living richer and more meaningful lives.
Hi, I’m Dheva. While Deborah is my legal name, Dheva (pronounced Day-va) is my preferred name and it is the name all of my clients and colleagues know me by.
I’m a psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor in Texas.
Personal growth and mindful inquiry have been passions of mine throughout my life. I have been dedicated to supporting others and working in the field of human and social services for over 20 years. Through both personal and professional experience, I have witnessed how therapy can have profound and positive impacts on our mental health, our relationships, career, and even our physical well-being.
I believe engaging in therapy takes courage and dedication. I am honored to walk alongside those who choose this path of introspection and discovery.
